We herewith proudly present our 1st Newsletter, aimed at providing you with the results from the Essay and Video Contest 2013. In 2013 contest entrants-each a student or young professional under the age of 35-were invited to produce videos and write essays addressing the subject "Innovation Inspiration: Lessons for Innovators From the Arts and Sciences." Many thanks to the participants for their dedication and congrats to the winners! A number of prestigious prizes have been granted, including 40 complementary passes for the Global Drucker Forum 2013 set to be held in Vienna on 14. and 15. November.

ESSAY CONTEST

In all, 160 essays were entered into the competition. A distinguished panel of judges led by Lynda Gratton of London Business School, picked the winners among young professionals and students.

VIDEO CONTEST

In all, 54 videos from 26 countries met the contest criteria and were accepted into the competition. More than 3,400 registered users voted during a six-week period for their favorites and here are the Top Winners with their videos to be displayed at the Drucker Forum.

THE PETER DRUCKER CHALLENGE

Introduced in 2010, and organized by Peter Drucker Society Europe, the Drucker Challenge was conceived as an international essay contest to raise awareness of the works and ideas of Peter Drucker among young people - the new generation poised to build on a management philosophy that puts the human being at its center.13 marked the inaugural year of the video category with public online voting.
Both contests are designed to complement and enrich the interdisciplinary exchange of views and ideas at the annual Global Peter Drucker Forums.
